Boys VS Girls

This blog is too full of emo rubbish. Lets talk about the future.

Recently Mel has been trying to irritate me by pointing out to every baby/toddler girl we see and saying they are 'useless' and 'boring', hinting that he must have a boy. Got me laughing but after awhile it was getting disturbing.

Babysitting the three monkey cousins of mine for so long has really warned me about the cuts and bruises and infections boys tend to get themselves into. They put everything in their mouths, they talk back, they scream, they fall and cut their chins and shins open, they climb on things before they can walk etc. Girls seem so much more fun to dress up and pamper when their babies but true enough are a little more 'boring' for dear daddy.

On the other hand it think its a natural biasness, majority of the men I know want a son because they need someone who can rough and tumble with, to share the gore movies and brainless entertainment men indulge in rather than to deal with a daughter who will grow up to have PMS together with her mother and get into silly tantrums over boys and makeup.

Ladies I know though, don't really have a preference. If its a girl we can buy tons of pretty frocks and hair accessories and hope that when she's a tween there's loads of mother-daughter bonding time instead of her hormones kicking in and we're worrying about who's going to get her laid.

Well but then...maybe we should just stick to 'budget and save money' if its a boy, I'm sure we're going to save a lot more on uneccessary stuff except for the occasional games/toys. Or he can just play warhammer with daddy the whole day.

Well, only 3-5 years before we can find out. Hopefully.
