Dear Baby,
Today you are 7 weeks and 5 days. How you have grown in just 2 weeks! The doctor was so shocked at my progress, my womb is bigger and my symptoms are stronger in just 2 weeks! In fact, your due date has now been pushed forward by 3 days, that makes your EDD 7 December!
Daddy was so happy to see you on Saturday. He kept touching you that day, being amazed that your heartbeat sounded so cool 'like a metal drumbeat' because you were pounding that little heart so furiously at 157beats per minute! Dr.S even pointed your little heart to us, it was moving and protruding out of your chest, we could see it moving so furiously! It was simply amazing.
2 weeks ago, you were just a bean like creature on the screen. On saturday, we could even see your tail, your head and what looked like your hands and of course, your heart! Your yolk sac is also a very healthy size which comforts mummy because that means you can get all your much-needed nutrients. You are also really well protected in the big water bag you're swimming in. That explains why mummy's pants are getting tight!
You are really really healthy and everyone is so happy with you. Stay strong ok! In just one month we will enter the 2nd trimester together, and everything will be nice and stable. Mummy is very sure that you are a strong baby and we will carry you till your full term because so far mummy has all the correct symptoms and you are growing so much faster than we expected :)
See you in 3 weeks little lizard! (daddy says you look like a lizard)
